Yuma Senior Living has Maintained Zero Covid Cases with its Residents
Yuma’s locally owned and operated senior community has continued to protect its residents from Covid-19 and has had no known resident cases since the start of the pandemic.
Yuma, AZ. August 17th, 2020 – Beginning even before the widespread outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in April, the team at Yuma Senior Living had instilled strict measures and protocols to ensure the health and welfare of all its residents. As of August 15th, 2020, the community still had no known cases among the many residents in the 151-room community. “Working with my department heads and caregivers, I’ve had the opportunity to witness first hand the calm and measured approach each of my
team members takes in caring for residents and addressing concerns from family members,” said Deborah Hall, Executive Director of Yuma Senior Living. “Each team member from nursing to maintenance, have focused their commitment to serving our residents into an unrelenting dedication to keeping them safe, while never losing sight of the need for support and friendship.”
The family members of residents at Yuma Senior Living have expressed their appreciation for the safety protocols because it means that the safety of their loved ones continues to be the top priority. The community’s leadership team has helped ease the anxiety that this pandemic has created by providing weekly communication and updates to residents, staff, and family members. “It has been humbling to see the expressions of gratitude and appreciation from families”, adds Executive Director Hall.
