Excitement Builds in Yuma for the Senior Games: PingPong, Cornhole, and Billiards Competitions

Yuma, AZ – September 2024 – The buzz is growing in Yuma as local seniors prepare to showcase their competitive spirits at the upcoming Yuma Senior Games. This year's highly anticipated events include Ping Pong, Cornhole, and Billiards, offering seniors 65 years and older a chance to compete, socialize, and have fun. The games will take place on the following dates:


• Cornhole & Ping Pong – November 9th

• Billiards – November 16th

• Cornhole & Ping Pong Finals – November 17th


These exciting competitions will not only provide a stage for friendly rivalry but also encourage participants to engage in healthy physical and mental activities. Best of all, participation is free for all competitors! Events will be held at Yuma Senior Living and the Desert Winds RV Park.


Among those eagerly awaiting the games are longtime Yuma residents, Nancy and Jim Etheridge, who are particularly looking forward to testing their skills in the Cornhole competition.


"We can’t wait to compete! We’ve been practicing for weeks, and the Yuma Senior Games are a great way for us to stay active, and have a blast together," said Nancy.


With the games just around the corner, there’s never been a better time for local seniors to dust off their paddles, toss some bean bags, and line up their shots at the pool table. The Yuma Senior Games are an open invitation to all seniors who want to challenge themselves and enjoy the thrill of competition in a welcoming environment.
